The City of London Housing Division has been working on expanding the Ontario Renovates Program to include the home repair financial assistance. We have revamped our application form and are pleased to announce that the 2018 Ontario Renovates Program will begin accepting applications. See the attachments
We would appreciate if you can spread the word and let your interested tenants/clients know about our program to further assist their independent living. Funding is limited and will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
- The program provides grant/loan to low-to-moderate income seniors and person(s) with disabilities that resides in City of London or Middlesex County.
- Homeowners may apply for one-time grant up to $5,000 for home accessibility modifications and/or forgivable loan up to $15,000 for home repairs.
- Landlord/Tenant may apply for one-time grant up to $5,000 for accessibility modifications.
- Applicants will be required to provide documentation for income and asset eligibility assessment. Details on eligibility can be found in our website.
